  • AnSem books another large ASIC project in the aerospace & defense market targeting aircraft vision systems

  • AnSem realizes a state of the art ultra low power transceiver with advanced RF energy harvesting circuitry.

2007

  • AnSem is awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification for analog and mixed signal custom IC design, IP based design and ASIC solutions.
  • AnSem's analog and mixed-signal designers now grow to 20
  • AnSem continues to grow its customer portfolio by adding 3 new customers

2006

  • AnSem signs a research agreement with the ESAT-MICAS department of the K.U.Leuven university on battery-less wireless sensor nodes.
  • AnSem welcomes 4 new customers

2005

  • AnSem's management establishes a majority ownership in the company
  • AnSem demonstrates its mixed-mode and mixed-signal capabilities in ASIC development to its customers.
  • AnSem celebrates first-time-right silicon in the development of an OC3/OC12 SERDES in just 6 months
  • AnSem now has customers on 4 continents (Europe, Americas, Asia and Australia).

2004

  • AnSem releases its first analog designs in 90nm technology
  • AnSem establishes a sales and marketing team.
  • AnSem celebrates the addition of its 15th design engineer.

  • AnSem moves to a new location in Haasrode, Belgium.
  • AnSem develops an ultra low-power Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) ASIC solution.

  • AnSem has customers in 3 continents (Americas, Europe and Japan)

1999

  • AnSem realizes its first tape-out of a CMOS GPS front-end ASIC
  • AnSem installs its own measurement lab

1998

  • AnSem is created with seed capital from the Gemma Frisius Fund (GFF) of the K.U.Leuven university.
  • The new AnSem books its first project for a Japanese customer
