AnSem's Proprietary Synthesis Tool and Design Automation

Our advanced design flow covers the complete design cycle from high-level design to layout and back-annotation. State-of-the-art electronic design automation (EDA) software tools, combined with the AnSem Advanced Proprietary Synthesis Tool (APST) are integrated into the design flow and development of all our analog circuits to allow design re-use and technology portability. We continually add to our extensive library of reusable IP and can easily and rapidly apply existing solutions to new problems. For specific types of building blocks, we have in-house tools to automate the design cycle, enabling our experienced designers to significantly accelerate design time.

• VCO with on-chip integrated inductors
• LNA with on-chip inductors
• Delta-Sigma A/D: switched-cap
• Comparator: High Speed, Flash
• OTAs and opamps for low-frequency

• Mentor Graphics (Eldo, Eldo RF, MachTA) tools are used for simulations and verifications
• Mentor Graphics’ Advanced MS with VHDL-AMS for top-down bottom-up design
• ModelSim from Mentor Graphics support the digital flow
