| > Design flow - Leaving nothing to chance |
Prestudy
From the first point of contact, we work in close co-operation with our customers, listening to their needs, defining the chip and its specifications in detail, the power consumption, testability, development time and effort - all aimed at identifying and eliminating any risks. |
Analog and mixed-signal IC design
Transparent and clear communication with our customers is key to our overall success – regular design reviews and follow-up reports form part of our communication strategy. Several tools support AnSem's design flow, including: Tanner Tools (to interface with our proprietary sizing tool); Mentor Graphics (Eldo, Eldo RF, MachTA) for simulations and verifications; and ModelSim from Mentor Graphics to support the digital flow. |
Mask Layout
At the layout level, we interface with the customer before delivering the carefully checked GDSII file to the customer or directly to the foundry. |
Prototype evaluation
We do perform full characterization of prototype ASICs in-house and provide assembled prototypes upon request via collaboration with our Technology Network. Using our technology network we can also offer prototype manufacturing in a broad selection of technologies. |
Volume product delivery
In addition to IC design, we can also co-ordinate medium series chip production and testing (up to a few 100k pieces a year). We work with several foundries offering ASIC design and production in all mainstream technologies. |
