Heverlee, Belgium, June 1, 2005 – AnSem, a fabless analog and mixed-signal IC design house offering advanced RF wireless, high-speed data communication, data acquisition and low-power design services today announced that it has appointed Bas Dorren PhD as its Worldwide Marketing and Sales Manager as of April 1st, 2005.
Bas Dorren will be responsible for AnSem’s business development and worldwide marketing and sales. His prime focus will be the acceleration of AnSem’s steady growth in its strategic market segments.
“Bas has a broad experience in marketing and sales of mixed-signal integrated products. His background is certainly an asset to AnSem’s internal expertise of analog and mixed-signal IC design,” says Stefan Gogaert CEO of AnSem. “I am confident that Bas will be extremely successful as Worldwide Marketing and Sales Manager and that he will be able to boost our business in Europe and in the rest of the world. Dorren joins AnSem from AMI Semiconductor, where he was responsible for the product management of integrated mixed-signal standard products. Prior to AMIS, Dorren was working for Alcatel Microelectronics as Product Line Manager and in operations. Dorren holds a PhD degree in semiconductor physics from the University of Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
