AnSem participates in indoor localization systems

AnSem participates in the strategic basic research project Omnitrack. This project aims to develop a low cost indoor localization system with a high performance: 1 mm accuracy at 1 ms update rate with a power consumption of 1 mW.

Ultra high accuracy, ultra fast update rate and ultra low power consumption are the challenges to make indoor localization possible. The project is based around three design cases allowing a mix between fundamental scientific research and industrial applications. AnSem takes part in the localization in dense meshes to enhance the range and the accuracy targeted at indoor localization.

Project partners are AnSem, the K.U.Leuven Esat Micas group, Flanders mechatronic technology centre FMTC, LMS the leading partner in test & mechatronic simulation.
