Analog and Mixed-signal IC Layout Engineer

To strengthen our team, AnSem is looking for an Analog and Mixed-signal IC Layout Engineer to translate IC schematics to a dense physical layout while taking into account electrical and mechanical design rules. Key responsibilities & tasks

The full layout flow from the initial layout floor planning until tape-out will be your domain. As part of one or more IC design teams you will work closely with the other members of the team under the supervision of the project leader.

Job Requirements

  • Master or Bachelor in Electrical Engineering with preferably 3 to 5 years of layout expertise
  • Good knowledge of analog electronics is a must
  • Excellent knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing technology
  • Ability to create the detailed floor plan of the total ASIC design
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, C, Tcl is considered an asset
  • Experience with layout generation, DRC, LVS, …
  • Experience with Cadence or Tanner
  • You are known to be analytical, pro-active and customer oriented, discretion is your middle name
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
