Hardware Test Engineer

To strengthen our measurement team, AnSem is looking for a Hardware Test Engineer with a passion for electronics. Key responsibilities & tasks

  • Supporting project teams in the testability aspects of their designs
  • Designing hardware and software to test the functionality of  ASICs
  • Checking performance of the chip as specified
  • Entering the design schematic in the schematic entry tool and translating it to a functional PCB layout
  • Assembling PCBs
  • Performing the required measurements of an integrated circuit
  • Writing software to support and automate tests and measurements
  • Performing synthesis, fitting and timing analysis of a digital design on an FPGA
  • Developing C, C++ code for embedded microcontrollers and/or embedded DSP processors
  • Providing technical support to customers to assist in implementing the AnSem proprietary integrated circuit in the application

Job Requirements

  • Master or Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, microelectronics preferred
  • Prior industrial experience in test and measurement is not required but certainly of added value
  • You have hands-on soldering skills and software such as Matlab and Python do not scare you off
  • You have the ability to solve problems and implement practical solutions autonomously
  • You are a team player and known to be analytical and pro-active, accuracy is your middle name
  • Fluency in verbal and written communication in English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus
