Quality Manager (BE)

Job summary

Located in Leuven, Belgium 

AnSem is delivering advanced integrated circuits to its customers. This is a complex process demanding high quality in every step. Therefore, the Quality manager is a key person in the success of AnSem.

This person will ensure the performance of AnSem’s quality management system, and all related activities, ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the company. She/he plans, implements and follows-up all kinds of quality actions in order to achieve the quality objectives. Technical and non-technical audits and reviews are part of the daily activities.

Key responsibilities & tasks

1.    Ensures a good performance of the quality management system and all related activities

2.    Ensures the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the company

3.    Contributes to the achievement of the quality objectives as stated in the quality policy of AnSem

  • Manages the continual improvement system and takes care that the system is used correctly by all 
  • Initiates improvement proposals, formulates action items and a proposal to provide the resources needed to carry out the action 
  • Organizes meetings for process analyses (first meeting and follow-up meetings depending on the circumstances and 
  • Plans, implements and follows-up all kinds of quality actions to ensure the continuity of the management system.
  • Evaluates the impact of possible changes in the quality management system to the existing system.
    • Determines in collaboration with management and follow-up the Quality performance 
  • Performs the analyses of the Quality performance 
    • Communicates all relevant information to the people 
    • Collects all data needed for the management review meeting and delivers it to general 
  • Reports to general management on the performance of the quality management system and any need for 
  • Participates to the meetings and audits related to the quality process – 
  • Perform technical audits in the ongoing projects

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Engineering – Preferably in electrical 
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO13485 
  • A few years of relevant 
  • Experience working in a technology company setting

Mandatory (Proven) 

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO13485 
  • Experience executing and reviewing quality audits, and providing recommendations for 
  • Proven soft skills, and an ability to collaborate in a team 
  • Able to work independently to set and achieve goals, and find solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills
