Senior ATE Test Development Engineer

Job summary

Responsible for generation ATE test solutions for wafer and packaged Integrated circuits for qualification and production. 

AnSem is looking for an enthusiastic senior ATE Test Development engineer who has the ability to work independently, to support our growing ASIC business. As a Test Engineer you will be responsible from cradle to grave for your projects. Typically from architectural test definitions to the production program release and test cost reduction plans. As a test engineer you’re expected to participate in the future growth plans. Having the ATE development skills at our design center you will have all product expertise on hand and short linked to the Design, Lab and Product Engineers

Key responsibilities & tasks

Responsible for generation ATE test solutions for wafer and packaged Integrated circuits for qualification and production. 

-          Define, develop and coordinate the build of ATE final test load boards and probe cards.

-          Develop and debug  ATE test program code on the required ATE systems.

-          Provide and maintain together with the PE and PL the planning of the above processes.

-          Interact with the design community on test strategy and implementation

-          Release the production test solution to the manufacturing site according the release procedures.

-          Train and support at the manufacturing site assigned Test Engineers.

-          Support the Product Engineers on Test issues related to qualification, engineering sample runs and RMA’s.

-          Advise and participate on test methodologies, test modes and built in (self) test

-          Work accordingly the process flow described in the Quality process matrix

Job Requirements

Education/experience:

Bachelor degree in electronics or a similarly related field required

Mandatory competences

At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor operations

Highly proficient in both written and spoken English

A track record that shows highly proficient communication skills

Willingness to travel (up to 10%)

This position is located in our Leuven, Belgium office

Reports to: Associate Vice President Productisation and Supply
