Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job summary

You are responsible for monitoring and carrying out the entire recruitment and selection process, in order to contribute to the optimum staffing of the various departments.

You develop and execute all activities aiming to fill open vacancies according to the required quality and quantity standards. You are the ambassador of the company for candidates and suppliers for all talent acquisition related topics.

Key responsibilities & tasks

  • Prepare the staffing plan to accomplish the business goals by ensuring the recruitment of correctly qualified employees.
  • Provide specialized sourcing expertise for technical and niche profiles, with a high focus on electrical engineering profiles.
  • Organize, conduct and follow-up recruitment and selection activities, such as preparing advertisements, screening applications, short-listing the candidates, interviewing and assessing them, provide recommendations to the management team
  • Develop and maintain effective networks to maximize visibility and attract top quality candidates.
  • Plan and realize recruitment campaigns and job fairs to ensure that a file of potential candidates is built up and maintained.
  • Provide high candidate care through all stages of the recruitment process, ensuring that successful and unsuccessful candidates have a positive experience engaging with the brand.
  • Proactively use Social Media to source top qualified candidates.
  • Keep up-to-date with new trends in sourcing.
  • Ensure internal compliance is adhered to throughout the recruitment end to end process.
  • Keep track of hiring metrics to ensure that management is provided with updated information.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in a Recruitment Agency environment where you have been involved in directly sourcing, headhunting, cold calling and interviewing candidates.
  • Experience in engineering recruitment.
  • International recruitment experience is preferred.
  • Experience across a broad range of sourcing channels, including social media.
  • Strong sense of ownership, drive, resilience, flexibility and commitment to delivery.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all employee groups and levels (executives, managers & employees).
  • Able to work in a collaborative manner and develop strong working relationships with the internal stakeholders.
  • Creative mindset, able to think outside the box.
  • Excellent listener, empathic
  • Proven ability to multi-task and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, French and Dutch is a must.
